Saltillo tile can be stained - it’s a lengthy process but the end result is a completely customized tile just for you. The steps to stain your tile through South Texas Saltillo Connection are:
1. Purchase tile unsealed
2. Purchase correct quantity of MLT Sealer (STSC will consult with you on quantity and process of sealing)
3. Select your shade of pigment (choices by the hundreds, provided by STSC)
4. Add pigment to MLT Sealer
5. Apply sealer and allow to dry.
6. Repeat with appropriate number of coats and sealer as recommended by STSC.
